About Kelly Marie
I’m not going to give you a full life story, I promise.
(However, if you’d like one, I’m more than happy to oblige…)
I’m just going to share the basics, for now.
Name: Kelly Marie (well, duh…)
DOB: 18/12/1987
Status: Taken - Engaged actually! ![]()
Hometown: Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Yeah, all the way down there!
Likes: A bit of sport! AFL, NRL, poker… etc. Having a good time. Doing things that make me think creatively. Think of all that artsy stuff: scrapbooking, painting etc. Shopping makes me happy too!
Dislikes: Impatient, intolerant, excessively insecure people. Everyone has their insecure moments. Constantly asking for reassurance = not good. Racists, bigots, fakes, try-hards, and trend followers also annoy me. Incompetent drivers!! That’s just people. People that say one thing, and then do the total opposite.
As for things I don’t like? Peas. Peas have to be the number one thing I hate. Cannot stand them! I also hate running late, and being disorganised.
Favourite things: Love purple. Actually, I love colour in general, but especially purple. Love the number 187. Why? Look at my date of birth. December 18, 1987. 18, and 87. Put them together, but take away an 8. Nifty, huh? I love frangipanis, tulips, and jasmine. I’ve loved frangipanis since I was about 4, so basically, I loved them before they were the “in thing”, okay? Tulips look really classy, and the jasmine plant in my backyard has the most beautiful scent in the spring.
Things that make me happy: Spending time with friends & family… keeping busy, getting things in the mail, nice people. A little bit of politeness goes a long way. And then curling up in bed at the end of the day with the one I love. I don’t need a lot to keep me content, despite what some think.
Things that make me not so happy: See dislikes, above. I don’t like people keeping me waiting. If you say you’re gonna meet up with me at a certain time, how hard is it to be there at that time? I hate being kept waiting. I don’t like stubbornness - but I think that’s because I’m also stubborn and we would butt heads, and not get anywhere. Lateness is not good. Also, I don’t believe in the whole screaming thing. You don’t need to yell and carry on at me to get your point across. I’m softly spoken, I don’t need to yell at you. If I have a problem, you’ll know about it - I just won’t burst your eardrums in the process!
What I’m planning to do… eventually: I want to get more experience in an office environment. I wanna work my butt off, get some qualifications behind me, and work towards having my own business. I want to be well on the way to this before I have kids. I want two kids, one of each. And I don’t want to have to put them in childcare. I want to look after my own kids. And work from home. That’s my aim!
Have to get married before kids, though. Wedding is set for September 12, 2009. I’ll be 21 (and 9 months).
I do think that’s about it! If there’s anything else you want to know, please ask… I don’t bite.
